Did a Big Brother star make Survivor fans dislike that Zac Brown segment even more?
As previously reported by Tea on TV, many Survivor fans were frustrated by the “forced” Zac Brown segment.
The famous singer says he has watched every episode of the show. So host Jeff Probst jumped at the chance to have him on Season 50.
Zac Brown appeared on the March 18 episode. He was shown spearfishing during part of his segment.
Later, he showed up at camp with two huge fish. That’s where he was shown preparing and cooking the fish for the tribe that had recently won a challenge (Reward and Immunity).
But was everything what it seemed? At the time, fans were questioning some of the editing.
Now, a Big Brother star is questioning everything.
Big Brother star Britney Haynes has thoughts on Survivor 50
Britney Haynes appeared on Big Brother 12 with Rachel Reilly. She placed fourth and was named America’s Favorite Houseguest.
She returned for Big Brother 14 as a coach and finished in eighth place. Later, Britney was also on Big Brother: Reindeer Games and The Traitors.
Known for her Diary Room quips, Britney has been great for television.
Britney now co-hosts a podcast with Survivor alum Corinne Kaplan. That’s where she spoke about the Zac Brown Survivor episode.
In the clip below, Britney breaks down what we saw during the episode. Then, she shares what might be considered a controversial opinion.
Britney claims that the fish that Zac Brown shot was anchored to the bottom. She then explains it and points out what she says in an anchor line. Britney has a screenshot of what she claims reveals both Zac Brown’s line and an anchor line keeping the fish in place.
“It was a faux hunt,” Britney claims. “It wasn’t even a real hunt.”
“He shot a fish that was tied to the bottom of the ocean,” Britney added.
What do you think? Do you think the spearfishing segment was staged? Would that take anything from Survivor 50, Episode 4?
Many fans have reacted to this video clip
“Wait that kinda feels wrong. like if you catch one in the wild that’s cool but anchoring it so you can kill it is weird,” one fan stated.
“This all makes sense. Its practically impossible for some random to fly into Fiji and spare fish 2 of the biggest catches thats ever been seen on the show. Just a waste of 30 mins of an episode,” someone else wrote.
Below is the full episode from their podcast. It includes the ladies chatting about the latest drama on The Bachelorette. If you haven’t heard, ABC canceled the Taylor Frankie Paul season after a dramatic video from her past surfaced.
