A Big Brother alum is a player on the new season of The Floor.
The trivia game show airs on FOX and is hosted by Rob Lowe. Yes, that Rob Lowe.
Contestants are placed on a massive LED grid. Each player has an expert category that they try to defend.
Throughout each episode, rapid-fire duels happen between two players. The winning player remains in the game, while the loser is eliminated. Also, the winner takes over the territory the loser had controlled.
A lot of strategy comes into play when challenging others. And the last person standing wins a $250,000 prize. There is also a $20,000 bonus to the player who controls the most grid spots (squares) at the end of each episode.
A Big Brother All-Star takes on The Floor
David Alexander is a player on this season of The Floor.
David was on Big Brother 21, but became the first person evicted. He got back in the house due to a twist, but exited on Day 30.
Jackson Michie won BB21, Holly Allen was the runner-up, and Nicole Anthony won America’s Favorite Houseguest.
The following summer, David was on Big Brother: All-Stars 2. David finished in eighth place on BB22, and he voted for Cody Calafiore to win. Cody was a unanimous winner over Enzo Palumbo. Da’Vonne Rogers won AFH.
We saw David compete on the first episode of The Floor Season 5, where he won a battle before returning to the floor.
David had to defend his category of Carbonated Beverages. With a chance to battle for the $20,000 prize in Episode 1, David played it safe by returning to the floor. Because he beat Vanessa, he inherited her category of Sexiest Man Alive.
During Episode 2, Kat challenged David. This meant David had to defend Sexiest Man Alive. He did just that. Again, rather than continue playing, David returned to the floor.
The former houseguest is playing it safe, opting for a long game rather than pushing for an episodic prize.
Will David get challenged again in Episode 3? Tune in to find out! We here at Tea on TV will be!
The Floor Season 5 episodes air Wednesdays at 8/7c on FOX. Previous episodes are streaming on Hulu.
