Big Brother 28 cast revealed: Here are the new houseguests

The Big Brother 28 cast is now public. We now know who is playing the game in Summer 2026.

Thank goodness the long wait is over. Unfortunately, we only have a few days to memorize these names before premiere night.

As previously seen here at Tea on TV, move-in day coincides with the announcement.

When the season premiere arrives on July 9, we are only getting pre-taped footage. But at least the season is getting underway!

Who is on the Big Brother 28 cast?

Below is a breakdown of who is playing on Big Brother 28. It’s an interesting group of players, with a nice mix of backgrounds.

  • Ashley – a 24-year-old bartender from Illinois. Plans to use social game to win.
  • Barrett – a 27-year-old jumbotron engineer from Austin, Texas. A self-professed BB super fan.
  • Chuk – a 27-year-old supply chain analyst from Dallas, Texas. He plans to play “a masterful social game” this summer.
  • Drew – a 22-year-old surgical dental assistant from California. Another self-professed BB super fan.
  • Haley – a 29-year-old telemedicine executive from Missouri. Wants to be everyone’s friend. Newly aware of BB.
  • Jason – a 35-year-old drag queen from Los Angeles. Also a self-professed “low-key” super fan. Was on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
  • Kamu – a 32-year-old MMA coach from Phoenix, Arizona. Huge Dan Gheesling fan; feels MMA fighting prepared him for this game. Might lie about his bio to other players.
  • La Trice – a 57-year-old boutique salesperson from New Jersey. Yet another professed BB super fan. Feels she has a great blend of social skills and competitiveness. Might lie about her background (singing).

  • Lyric – a 25-year-old attorney from Honolulu, Hawaii. Grandmother was a huge BB fan. Plans to be a “comp beast” and also present a strong social game. She’s also a singer on the side; will hide that she is a lawyer.
  • Mallory – a 24-year-old rocket scientist from New Jersey. Plans to bring “energetic energy” to accompany her smarts. Will lie about her intelligence.
  • Melody – a 24-year-old corporate game show host from Colorado. Says she has been a BB fan since she was in the womb. Going to hide her job and say she’s a waitress.
  • Rome – a 28-year-old professional pickleball coach from Michigan. A self-professed nerd who plans to pretend to be a jock. Collects trading cards. Real name is Jack.
  • Taylor – a 27-year-old school counselor from Florida. Calls herself “that girl” and plans to win. Has a game plan based on being a fan “all her life.” Very well spoken.
  • Yash – a 24-year-old finance analyst from New Jersey. Considers himself funny and smart. Has only recently learned of BB. Loves hairdressers.

That’s it for now. Fourteen people. But Julie teased we should expect much more on premiere night.
