The Big Brother 28 is already deep into the game. That might be surprising to some fans, especially since the season premiere airs on Thursday, July 9.
Move-in day was July 7. That’s when the BB28 cast began playing the game. Alliances have formed, the first Head of Household was likely crowned, and new players have already been introduced.
As previously revealed by Tea on TV, the producers revealed the first 14 players. It’s an interesting group that includes a lawyer, an MMA fighter, and a drag queen. But they held back some names.
Later, we learned that three more reality TV stars would be joining the show. But who? Rumors have been rampant on social media for a while now. And some of those rumors were correct.
Angela Murray is also on BB28. She was originally on BB26, but has returned with two Survivor alums by her side. We will learn more about these twists during the Big Brother 28 season premiere (July 9) and the Big Brother: Unlocked premiere (July 10).
The Big Brother 28 cast is already playing the game
There are 17 people in the Big Brother house (now). And it is providing lots of action for the producers to pre-tape. This gives them footage for the first few episodes. Sorry, there is no “live” premiere this year.
Unfortunately, this also means we are missing lots of gameplay. When the Big Brother Live Feeds finally turn on late Friday night (July 10), it will already be Day 4 of the new season. Some alliances may have already fallen. As we saw on BB21, that’s also enough time for a showmance to develop and fizzle out.
But the good news is that we are getting Big Brother again, even if we are missing some crucial conversations. Hopefully, the producers and editors don’t hide too much from us as the game gets going.
Also, don’t miss the first episode of Unlocked. It will present a new twist involving fan voting. It’s something that no fans want to miss. There is even a new co-host to help Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur through the steps.
As a reminder, new Big Brother episodes air Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays this summer.
More from the world of Big Brother
Here is a link to the Week 1 BB28 schedule. The hamsters will be busy in July.
A Big Brother alum is asking how she can play on Survivor. She wouldn’t be the first former houseguest to join the other reality competition show.
Former winner Dan Gheesling is also returning to TV. He’s on a new show that airs on NBC.
