These Big Brother 28 spoilers look at the Week 2 eviction votes.
An Eviction Ceremony will arrive on Thursday (July 23). Someone is about to go home.
Rick Devens is the current Head of Household. This gave him the power to decide on the eviction targets.
Devens nominated Jason, Melody, and Lyric. He had several ideas about how the week would go, including having Mallory on the block instead of Jason.
But the new Toolshed alliance pushed him toward targeting Jason or Rome. So here we are.
Devens also won the Power of Veto, allowing him full control at the Veto Ceremony.
Devens saved Lyric from the block, and then named Rome as the replacement nominee. Yes, that led to some more house chaos.

Melody looks very safe. That could change. This house wavers depending on how people act mid-week. Ashley was about to be safe in Week 1, right up until she talked herself out of the game.
For now, we think Melody is safe against either Jason or Rome.
As a reminder, the trio plays in a BB Blockbuster Challenge on Thursday night. Someone will escape the block after gaining safety. Sure, Melody would love a challenge win, but she might not need it.
The house is ready to evict Rome if he stays on the block. In fact, the only person currently slated to support him over Jason or Melody is Lyric.
If the vote is between Melody and Jason, then it is Jason going home in another one-sided vote. If Lyric is left on an island, she might want to vote with the house to save face.
That’s where we stand as Tuesday night (July 21) arrives. Will we experience another Waffle Wednesday on July 22? It’s always possible, but we at Tea on TV think that the house has already made up its mind. That’s why people like Chuk and Lyric are already making plans for Week 3.

- Rome vs Jason: Rome evicted on a 12-1 vote.
- Rome vs Melody: Rome evicted on a 12-1 vote.
- Jason vs Melody: Jason evicted on an 11-2 vote.
