Season 20 of MAFS is in full swing, and the cast is quickly learning about the downside of reality TV fame.
Mecca has been feeling the heat over the last few days after his shady scene with Belle-Jolie started making the rounds online.
The 28-year-old finally responded to the backlash on social media, telling viewers, “Admittedly not my best pick up line😭🤦🏽♂️.”
However, don’t think for a minute that he was apologetic about telling Belle-Jolie that she was more attracted to him than he was to her.
In the caption of his post, Mecca noted, “I intended to be fully transparent, vulnerable, and honest during this experiment, something I have struggled with in past, and that’s exactly what I did.”
Meanwhile, he hinted at the double standards in relationships, adding, “I wonder what the perceptions would be if the man was more attracted to the women within a relationship 🤔.”
Is there any hope for Belle-Jolie and Mecca?
If you thought Mecca’s shady comment would spell the end of his marriage to Belle-Jolie, you’re not alone.
