A new HOH is in charge of Big Brother 28.
In the late-night hours, the houseguests played for the power in an Endurance Challenge.
The players were perched on a wall in the backyard, and the last person standing would win the power.
Haley had to watch, mere hours after her BB28 world was turned upside down.
Haley expected Melody to go home. But the reality TV icons wanted Lyric out instead.
Somehow, Melody and Drew both survived Haley’s HOH. Could one of them also steal the house’s power?
A new Head of Household on Big Brother 28
When the feeds turned on late Thursday night (LATE), Angela was already down. Many fans surmised that she may never have been on the wall.
Later, Taylor was the first person to drop after the feeds turned on. Haley hosted the challenge, while someone dressed as Bogfoot strolled around the backyard.
Angela cheered a lot as the final 10 players competed for the power.
Barrett, Devens, and Dee were the next three people out (in that order).
Melody dropped a bit later, followed shortly by Mallory.
Drew, Yash, Kamu, La Trice, and Chuk were the final five.
Chuk fell, and then Yash was down roughly two minutes later.
Only Drew, Kamu, and La Trice remained. This was an intense battle between Drew and Kamu, with La Trice surprising most people watching on the Live Feeds.
Drew dramatically dropped. Only Kamu and La Trice remained.
After Drew fell, the feeds went down for a very long time.
People had to watch the adoptable pets for far too long before the feeds were turned back on.
After nearly 20 minutes of downtime, the Big Brother Live Feeds returned: La Trice had the HOH Key around her neck.
La Trice is the Week 5 Head of Household on Big Brother 2026. She likely has some big plans in mind.
Upcoming for Big Brother 28
La Trice hosts a Nomination Ceremony on Friday (August 7). That’s when things will get spicy.
Someone also enters the Time Capsule on Friday. Who did the fans pick to win entry this week? Haley thinks it’s her. Since nobody can enter twice, the reality TV icons are out. Stay tuned to learn who got it.
