A dramatic new Big Brother episode airs on Thursday night.
This was an eviction episode, with a lot on the line for the three nominees.
La Trice has been the Head of Household this week. Thanks to Taylor, her primary target was Haley.
Could Haley find a way to survive and give it back to La Trice? Or would the Red Corner go up in flames?
As a reminder, the final nominees for the week were Haley, Chuk, and Barrett.
Big Brother 28, Episode 19 recap from August 13
“The Toolshed is dead,” Julie Chen Moonves stated as she welcomed us to the new episode.
A recap was shown of the alliance forming between Haley, Chuk, and Kamu, which later featured Dee and Devens.
With La Trice winning the Endurance Challenge, that trio was in trouble. Part of the recap showed La Trice and Kamu teaming up to get Haley and Chuk out of the game.
Kamu had the first new Diary Room session. He said he didn’t want to rock the boat, which is why he did not use the Power of Veto.
Chuk said his loyalty to Kamu was gone. He planned to target Kamu if he survived the week.
Haley spoke about using her newfound energy to win the BB Blockbuster.
Barrett spoke about needing to be chill. It was very true. He would remain safe unless he burned the wrong bridge.
Taylor said Haley was “sucking the life out of everyone in the house” and that she needed to go this week.
Devens and Yash celebrated together after surviving another week.
Suddenly, Devens wondered if Haley sticking around might not be so bad. She could be a big target to hide behind.
Likewise, Malloey wanted Chuk out because he kept making fun of her.
Chuk went to Taylor for help campaigning. She agreed. But she shook her head in a DR session.
La Trice plans to target the icons, gets caught
During an HOH Room conversation, La Trice spoke about targeting the icons soon. She was in the room with Yash, Mallory, Melody, Drew, and Barrett. That information got to the icons (Barrett told them).
Moving forward, La Trice may have harmed her alliances in the house. But she’s not the only one who wants to target the icons.
The bad news for La Trice is that Taylor is feeding Devens information on the sly.
A huge BB Blockbuster Challenge
Haley, Chuk, and Barrett competed in the Week 5 BB Blockbuster Challenge. One player would soon find safety.
The challenge had the trio rolling apples onto a platform. Once they landed five apples, the trio then had to knock them off. The first person to complete the challenge would win.

The fifth Big Brother 28 eviction: The long goodbye
The houseguests had to vote to evict Chuk or Barrett. It seemed like an easy-to-predict vote. But let’s take a look at the votes (in order).
