We now know who the new Big Brother HOH nominated for eviction this week.
Chuk is out. Haley is sad. The icons are in trouble. And Lyric is having fun on the beach.
Also, Angela and Haley bonded, someone entered the Time Capsule, and Devens is safe (again). What?
Let’s get into it.
The new Head of Household nominates three people for eviction
Yash Patel is your Week 6 HOH. He won the challenge late Thursday night (August 13).
Taylor and La Trice are 100 percent safe. They celebrated with Yash soon after he won the challenge.
The icons are far less safe. Yash was part of the crew that chatted about targeting them this week. And he likes that plan. But he is also close with Devens, and doesn’t appear ready to turn on that alliance.
Yash nominated Angela, Haley, and Dee for eviction.
Angela is the target. She will have to pull off a miracle to survive this week.
There is only one power in the house that could save her: Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto.
Big Brother 28: The Time Capsule, a power, and a plan
Melody won the BB28 Fan Vote this week. She entered the Time Capsule to compete. And she lost.
Later, Mallory and Melody commiserated about having two shots at power and landing two punishments instead.
Melody is now the Lord of the Latrine for 24 hours. She has to announce when people are using the bathroom. It’s the same costume/punishment that Derek Xiao had in Big Brother 23.
Elsewhere, Dee approached Yash with her power ahead of his Nomination Ceremony. She explained on the Live Feeds that she offered Yash $5,000 to choose his nominees for the week.
Dee said that Yash turned down the BB Bribe. He was not interested in giving up his HOH powers. The good news for Dee is that she does not lose her power. Because Yash declined the bribe, she can now bribe someone else. Maybe for a vote if she remains on the block come eviction night?
As for the overall plan, Yash wants Angela out. If he needs a replacement nominee, the plan is to go with Barrett. He feels that this is a way to control the outcome on eviction night. But that could be a dangerous game. Pawns go home in Big Brother.
