After that 9-1 vote, Haley tried to regroup, plans were hatched, and a new scramble began.

Yash won the Head of Household Competition, and he was ready to take a shot at the reality TV legends.
Nominations, powers, and more on Big Brother 28
Yash is the new HOH. He is close with La Trice, Kamu, and Taylor.
Yash nominated Angela, Dee, and Haley. It was a very bold move.
Dee told Devens that she used her BB Bribe power with Yash. She asked to choose the nominees, but Yash declined the $5,000.
Dee can use the BB Bribe again. Since Yash didn’t accept it, the power still works.
Elsewhere, Devens got a tad frustrated that Dee keeps losing challenges (but he keeps losing as well).
With Dee on the block, chats were had about Devens using the Diamond Power of Veto to save her. But maybe she could win the Power of Veto?
The Big Brother Power of Veto and a Week 6 plan
Melody and Barrett joined the Veto Competition with Yash, Dee, Angela, and Haley.
Yash won the Power of Veto. He has become a Comp Beast in the house. Yash has won the BB Blockbuster, an HOH Comp, and the Veto Comp.
This is where things get messy.
Yash hosts the Veto Ceremony on Monday (August 17). That’s when he can save a nominee and choose a replacement. It’s also where Devens can use his Diamond Power of Veto.
Yash mulled over the idea (with Kamu) of saving Angela and naming Barrett the replacement nominee. It could have made things really messy as the eviction vote approaches.
For now, Yash and Kamu tabled that bold idea. Maybe they wouldn’t if they knew what was happening behind the scenes.
Two alliances merged. Mallory, Melody, Barrett, and Drew are now working with Dee, Devens, and Angela. It’s a seven-person alliance that could control the game from this point unless the rest of the houseguests spot it and do something about it.
A Veto Ceremony worth seeing in primetime
Dee and Angela are ready to use their veto speeches to call out Kamu and Yash.
Then, Devens plans to use his Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee.
Kamu would become the replacement nominee.
The final nominees for the week would be Kamu, Angela, and Haley.
Mallory, Melody, Devens, Dee, Barrett, and Drew could vote out Kamu. Nothing could stop them.
Separately, FAP (Mallory, Melody, Drew, and Barrett) planned to vote out Haley and convince Yash that they would vote out Dee so Yash wouldn’t use the POV.
Stay tuned. Devens wants to find a way to save his Diamond Power of Veto. That would mean a Haley eviction if the seven-person alliance really does get on the same page. But Melody and Mallory want to vote out Angela.
Oh Melody!
On Friday, Melody entered the Time Capsule. She won the latest BB28 Fan Vote. This gave her a chance to secure a big power.
But she failed. Later, she and Mallory commiserated about blowing their chances in the Time Capsule.
Melody’s punishment was to be the Lord of the Latrine for 24 hours. Derek Xiao did this in BB23.
