Big Brother 28, Episode 21 recap: A big swing and OTEV

A new Big Brother episode aired on Wednesday night. This was Big Brother 28, Episode 21.

When we last saw the hamsters, Yash Patel was the new HOH.

Yash nominated Haley, Angela, and Dee for eviction. He was ready to make some big moves.

The icons were in trouble. The stage was set for lots of chaos (as seen on the BB28 Live Feeds).

But a lot has happened in the days following those nominations, and it was time for the CBS viewers to catch up.

Big Brother 28, Episode 21 recap from August 19

Angela cried in a Diary Room session.

Yash smiled about making big moves.

Dee was really upset that Yash didn’t honor the Wolfpack alliance. She also reminded the viewers that he declined her bribe.

Later, Dee was shown telling Kamu that she offered Yash the bribe. Kamu (in a DR) said he felt “great” about Dee being on the block.

Angela cried for a full segment. Barrett tried to console her.

Yash met with Haley and told her she was only a pawn. He also said he wants to work with her. Then Haley complained about having a rough season (again). She (again) said she has not had one easy moment.

Mallory spoke in the DR about the FAP being safe and that the icons deserved to see the block.

Dee also cried with Barrett later. She did not handle her nomination well. For the first time. In Week 6.

A long segment featured Melody as the Lord of the Latrine. Her punishment was to announce when people were using the bathroom.

Scrambling for the Power of Veto on Big Brother 28

Ahead of the Veto Competition, Devens and Dee discussed his Diamond Power of Veto. But he didn’t want to use it unless he had to. If Dee could win the Veto Competition, she could gain herself safety.

Drew and Melody did some more flirting. Later, Drew checked in with Dee.

Meanwhile, it seemed like Kamu was running the HOH week for Yash. And it was working. He was still very safe.

Melody and Barrett were drawn to play in the Veto Competition. They joined Yash, Dee, Haley, and Angela.

Barrett spoke with Drew about how much he wanted to win. He was at risk of being a replacement nominee due to Kamu.

This week was OTEV. And the six players did it in rounds. It was in 1950.

  • Angela lost in the first round.
  • Dee and Haley lost in the second round. Devens made jokes about the Survivor winner.
  • Melody went out in the third round.
  • It was Barrett vs Yash for the Power of Veto. And Yash won the Veto Competition.

Yash and Kamu spent lots of time celebrating the POV win.

Ready for chaos? The Week 6 Veto Ceremony

Devens pondered using his Diamond Power of Veto. He chatted with Barrett about a seven-person alliance.

The seven people are now Devens, Dee, Mallory, Melody, Barrett, Drew, and Angela. Will the group last? For now, the team-up is to take down Yash and Kamu. Drew was excited it finally happened (the alliance). Mosh Pit is the alliance name.

With a majority in place, Devens planned to use his Diamond Power of Veto. Yash had no idea what was coming.

Kamu did not use his Power of Veto. Before he could adjourn the Veto Meeting, Devens interrupted. Yash acted excited. He should have. Kamu looked very, very worried.

Devens used his power to save Dee from the block. He then named Kamu as the replacement nominee.

The final nominees for this week are Kamu, Haley, and Angela.
