Savannah Chrisley isn’t afraid to speak out when necessary, and that includes discussing plastic surgery.
The former Chrisley Knows Best star revealed that she had liposuction done in Beverly Hills after rapid weight gain caused body image issues for her.
During a new episode of her “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast, Savannah discussed what sparked her weight gain and her decision to undergo liposuction. She also revealed that she had undergone a nose job, but the same surgeon didn’t perform it.
Being open with the public about your life isn’t always easy, and Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter revealed she wasn’t sure that she would open up about her plastic surgery endeavors.
Savannah Chrisley didn’t feel her body ‘fit the brand’
Savannah Chrisley has been open about her battle with endometriosis, which has caused her a great deal of pain. In dealing with that, she gained 40 pounds quickly at the end of last year.
It affected her mood and body image. While speaking with the doctor who performed the liposuction in Beverly Hills, she said, “I was going through all of my health stuff. Gaining weight, I was working out, eating right, nothing was working.”
The former reality TV star then mentioned how it was affecting her as she geared up to return to television after a few years away from headlining a show. She revealed, “That’s the thing, being on TV and having to do a campaign shoot for a product. I’m like, I can’t show up looking the way that I look. To me, it didn’t fit the brand. I didn’t feel good. I needed a quick fix, but the judgment that goes along with it.”
The Chrisley family is returning to TV
Now that Todd and Julie Chrisley have been released from prison, they will be returning to television.
They have already begun filming alongside Savannah Chrisley, who had previously been filming her efforts to have her parents freed.
The debut date of the new show remains unclear, but it will be featured on the Lifetime network.
