Todd and Julie Chrisley are home from prison and speaking out about their ordeal.
Their new show, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, began airing, and now Todd and Julie will appear on the Tamron Hall Show for a daytime exclusive.
Earlier this week, Todd revealed he was in the studio with Tamron for her show. He and Julie sat down to talk to the daytime host and discussed how much they spent while fighting to remain free.
However, they didn’t win their battle. Instead, they served time in federal prison while their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, worked tirelessly to get them home.
She succeeded after the couple received a presidential pardon. Todd and Julie were released and welcomed home by their family almost immediately.
It’s now time for the formerly-imprisoned couple to tell their story.
Todd Chrisley tells Tamron Hall about legal fees
The Tamron Hall Show shared a clip of the upcoming daytime-exclusive interview with Todd and Julie Chrisley on Instagram. She is joined on-stage by the reality TV couple.
While asking about the money, Tamron revealed she heard they spent around $300,000 in legal fees. Todd and Julie corrected her, confirming they paid much more than that.
They spent roughly $3,000,000 on legal fees, which likely included all of the appeals and everything else they did in addition to fighting the federal charges they faced in the beginning.
The Chrisleys are back on TV
While Savannah Chrisley was fighting for her parents to come home, she was filming a show about navigating her life while raising her siblings. However, it changed when they heard that Todd and Julie Chrisley would be home.
The Chrisleys: Back to Reality has already begun airing on Lifetime. It captures everything with an inside look and calls that were recorded from prison when her parents called home. Filming began before Todd and Julie’s release and will continue from there.
