Ginger Zee hilariously claps back at troll: ‘I do my own makeup’

Ginger Zee isn’t just a meteorologist at ABC. The Good Morning America chief meteorologist is also a master at clapping back when unkind remarks come her way.

She is passionate about weather and climate change, often sharing tips and tricks to reduce your carbon footprint. Ginger is quite active on social media, but with that comes heavy criticism.

All of Ginger’s work isn’t for nothing, though. She has legions of followers who appreciate her knowledge and heed her advice.

She also gets to take special assignments, including being part of the new season of Dancing with the Stars. Ginger competed on Season 22 with Val Chmerkovskiy as her partner. They placed third in the competition.

However, being so well-known does come with its downfalls. Followers and viewers sometimes cross the line with their comments, and Ginger recently called one out.

And just for the record, Ginger did not get a nose job!

Ginger Zee claps back at rude comment

After appearing on World News Tonight, Ginger Zee received an email with a rude comment about her nose.

The email subject was “nose.”

On Instagram, Ginger let the message be seen. She captioned the share, “That moment you beam with pride because your nose contour was THAT GOOD… I do my own makeup for @abcworldnewstonight so I don’t always get it right. But tonight, I was nose job good🙌🙌🙌”

Instead of feeling bad about the comment, Ginger spun it around to highlight that she could contour her nose so well that someone believed she had a nose job.

Ginger is incredibly good at poking fun at herself and highlighting the shenanigans she enjoys through her job at Good Morning America and her work for the ABC network.

Is Ginger leaving Good Morning America?

Earlier this year, there was talk that Ginger Zee may have planned to exit the ABC morning show. She had been away for a few days, but quickly debunked that.

Ginger is often on assignment for her job, broadcasting from all over the US during storms and other weather events. She is almost like the Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore, though no one freaks out when she heads to town like they do with Jim.

There was also speculation that Ginger may have been expecting her third child, but that was not the case. She and her husband, Ben Aaron, share two boys.

The Good Morning America staple is happy and content where she is, and it doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.

Good Morning America airs Monday through Saturday mornings on ABC.
