Amani Aliyya took a fun-filled solo trip to New York City, leaving husband Woody Randall and their two kids back in New Orleans.
However, the Married at First Sight star might have had a little too much fun, which led to her ER visit.
The mom of two is doing okay despite the unplanned hospital visit, and she’s now back home with her family.
The reality TV personality-turned-influencer recently shared a recap of her busy work trip.
Amani was a speaker at the Hair Education Beauty Summit, and she made sure that the getaway wasn’t just all work and no play.
Unfortunately, that little moment of play left her with a broken wrist, but her visit to The Big Apple was a success nonetheless.
Amani Aliyya’s NYC getaway ends with an ER visit
Amani posted a video of her New York getaway on social media, noting that it ended with a bang.
“NYC owes me EVERYTHING, but I’ll probably be back for a re-do. I did break my wrist or whatever. 🤭,” she captioned the Instagram post.
The trip involved exploring the nightlife at several NYC hotspots and getting glam for her appearance at the Hair Education Beauty Summit.
The mom of two, who stayed at Hotel Edison during the trip, also made sure to schedule in some time for shopping.
Before heading back home, Amani enjoyed a peaceful sound bath experience and had a fun night rollerblading with friends.
The MAFS alum broke her wrist
The MAFS star didn’t go into details about how she broke her wrist, but the video gave us a major clue.
The last snippet featured Amani at the rollerblading rink, and then the clip showed her sitting on a hospital bed holding her wrists.
It seems the MAFS star needs to brush up on her rollerblading skills because that’s where things went sour.
By all accounts, she took a tumble on the rink, and that’s how she ended up in the ER.
It will take some time for Amani’s wrists to heal, but in about six to eight weeks, she’ll be as good as new.
Married at First Sight is currently on hiatus.
