BravoCon was held in Las Vegas over the weekend, and there were a few surprises for fans along the way.
While it would be amazing to say she is back because of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, that isn’t the case.
Catania will be part of the brand-new Housewives franchise, though. She is slated for a role on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island and was spotted in the trailer released at BravoCon.
It’s exciting news, especially following the announcement of her engagement to Paulie. Catania has been a fan-favorite since her appearance on RHONJ, and now, viewers will be able to see her on RHORI.
Helping to launch a new franchise is a significant milestone, and since it appears to have been filmed during the summer months, we may gain more details about what led up to the big announcement.
Dolores Catania gets a ‘friend of’ role on RHORI
Seeing Dolores Catania pop up in The Real Housewives of Rhode Island trailer was a treat. This new franchise installment wasn’t met with heavy excitement, but it might do okay.
Alongside Catania being in the friend of role, Bachelor Nation couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are also starring in the first season. The rest of the ladies don’t appear to have connections, but they likely know a lot about the Housewives franchises.

There is so much to look forward to in 2026 for Dolores Catania. Not only is she a part of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, but she also has a wedding to plan.
With The Real Housewives of New Jersey off the air indefinitely at this point, Catania has branched out. She was a part of the Traitors cast and now has another Housewives show to be a part of.
It will be interesting to see where RHORI stacks up with some of the other franchises, especially with news of Vicki Gunvalson returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County next season. There is a lot to live up to, and with Catania on the cast list for the newest franchise, it’s a step in the right direction.
