Amy Duggar King writes tell-all, follows in Jill Duggar’s footsteps

Amy Duggar King revealed a tell-all is on the way.

If you didn’t see it coming a mile away, you must be blind.

The Duggar cousin has been incredibly vocal about her famous cousins, especially Josh Duggar.

When he was arrested and subsequently convicted on CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) charges, she began to drop little tidbits about growing up alongside the family.

Interestingly enough, her title, Holy Distruptor: Shattering the Shiny Facade by Getting Louder Than the Truth, is a nod to the documentary Prime Video did about the Duggars and the IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles).

Amy, her mom Deanna Duggar, participated alongside Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard.

Amy Duggar King calls out famous family

It was only a matter of time before Amy Duggar King decided to drop a tell-all, and we are here for it.

While she has a bevy of critics (who often refer to her as Famy), she has a unique perspective on the Duggar world. Amy has nothing to lose by sharing her story.

She has long-teased an NDA she signed, but given that she’s written a book, that may have expired.

Amy grew up with the Duggars, though she was raised in a more secular environment. As a single parent, Deanna Duggar raised her. She was exposed to different scenery, television, music, and more.

Her relationship with her grandma, Mary Duggar, was so important to her. When Mary passed, the filming of the funeral as part of Counting On was disturbing.

When Amy and her mom participated in Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, it was clear that while they had faith, they did not follow or be interested in the ideals of the IBLP.

How will the Duggars react to Amy’s tell-all?

We expect that none of the Duggar family members (except Jill Duggar) will support Amy Duggar King in this endeavor.

They have long avoided her, despite her attempts to continue relationships. When Jill and Derick Dillard walked away from Counting on in 2017, Amy was there. She also attempted to help Anna Duggar when Josh was arrested for his crimes.

Jill wrote her book, and while it was enlightening, it was just surface-level things that many suspected or had already been revealed. Jinger Duggar also wrote a book, but hers was framed to blame Bill Gothard and the IBLP teachings. Her parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, were not held accountable.

We are excited for the tea to drop in the book, and when it comes out, expect to hear more about it!

Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets is currently streaming on Prime Video.
