The Big Brother 27 cast is just about ready to go!
A new group of players has been selected and sequestered.
We are only days from seeing them take the stage during the July 10 season premiere.
Along for the ride is host Julie Chen Moonves, who returns for her 27th regular season.
Julie was also around for the online season (BBOTT) and the celebrity versions.
Now, she will help introduce the BB27 cast, which is rumored to feature 16 new players to the game.
Producers have selected the Big Brother 27 cast
A new social media post confirms that the cast of BB27 has been determined.
The players and possible alternates will now be sequestered ahead of the start of the season.
“It’s official! The producers have done it! 🙌 Our new #cast has finally be chosen!!” reads the fun new Instagram post.
“Sequester will soonly commence. The cast of #BB27 is coming,” the note ends.
What does it all mean? This means the final players have made the cut and are likely filming those hometown sequences where they (pretend to) find the Big Brother key.
From there, producers will shuttle them to a hotel where they reside on their own until it’s time to play the game.
Fans are excited about the news
The news about the BB27 cast is a welcome surprise ahead of the weekend.
While we must wait a bit longer to learn their names, at least the new houseguests have been selected.
Now, we can count down the days until Thursday, July 10, arrives.
It will also be interesting to see if this is a season with a live move-in or if the producers are recording it ahead of time again.
Already, Big Brother fans are celebrating on social media and hypothesizing about what the theme of the season will entail.
Elsewhere, Celebrity Big Brother 4 could be on the way. It would be lots of fun for CBS viewers this winter.
