The Big Brother 27 cast has already had a messy season, but it got worse in the eyes of many fans when a nominee failed to use their secret power. Zach won a Day 1 challenge that landed him a $10,000 prize. However, the prize also came with a special power: he could pay the HOH to escape the block.
When Zach got nominated by Ava in Week 5, it wasn’t too big of a deal. Even if he failed to win the Veto Competition, Zach could escape the block by using his power. Then the Veto Ceremony came and went, but Zach never took himself off the block. He felt too safe.
Fast-forward to now, where Zach is at risk of being evicted during the August 14 Ceremony. He’s very concerned. Rightfully so. The house has been very indecisive in its vote discussions, leading to scenarios where each nominee (Keanu, Vince, and Zach) could go home if the night went badly for them.
Zach asks Big Brother fans to save him / give him special power
Many Big Brother fans were shocked when Zach asked to be saved on the live feeds. He might have made it worse by not even knowing the website for the show, despite claiming to be a “big fan” of the show before this. Sure, maybe the name simply escaped him in that moment, but it was pretty suspect.
Below is a video from the Big Brother Live Feeds with Zach pleading his case. Among the reasons he feels he should remain in the house is that he is willing to walk around with his shirt off more than any other houseguest.
Big Brother fans react to Zach wanting another power
Social media was flooded with people frustrated that Zach had squandered his power and was now asking the fans to save him.
“Zach is asking America for a special power to save him this week #bb27,” wrote a fan who used the GIF of an annoyed person.
“I need Zach gone… how dare you ask for a power when you haven’t even USED the one you have! #BB27,” wrote another frustrated fan who used a GIF of Denzel Washington slamming the door in someone’s face.
“I know Zach did not just ask America for a power to save him….. sir, didn’t you have a whole $10k power to save yourself or- #BB27,” wrote another exasperated fan.
