The Big Brother 27 season is on the way. We don’t have much longer to wait for the big season premiere on CBS.
However, the BB27 cast hasn’t been released yet. That’s expected, as the producers like to keep things under wraps as long as possible.
Typically, the names of the new houseguests are released around one week to 10 days before the first episode. So, the first week of July could feature a day for name-dropping.
What can we expect from the BB27 cast? The good news is that everyone is fresh to the game.
There are no returners this summer, so nobody comes in with Big Brother fans already liking or disliking them.
Having a group of all-new players also comes with challenges, though, because nobody knows what to expect from them. Will they all want to finish the whole season without quitting? Hopefully!
When is the Big Brother 27 start date?
Big Brother 27 begins on Thursday, July 10. That’s less than a month away, and the show and its host are celebrating on social media.
Episodes return to the familiar 8/7c start time on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Fans also get a special Friday night episode airing every other Friday.
Recent rumors suggest that Big Brother 27 will be shorter than usual. At least this means it won’t interrupt fall programming at CBS, and it clears the way for new seasons of Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Many fans believe that the theme will somehow involve secrets, but it’s anyone’s guess how that will be executed. Will some of the houseguests have big secrets to reveal later? Maybe!
Matt Hardeman and Makensy Manbeck from Big Brother 26 are still going strong. The duo struck up a friendship, but Matt was sent home by the first Head of Household. A little while after the season ended, they decided to strike up a relationship. Recently, they celebrated their six-month anniversary.
For fans checking in with other Big Brother alums, Paul Abrahamian will be on House of Villains. Paul played Big Brother twice, finishing as the runner-up for BB18 and BB19. He took a long break from reality TV after that, but he has returned as a villain on the hit E! show.
