Julie Chen Moonves is back to teasing the theme of Big Brother 27. A new social media post has also convinced fans that they know what’s coming this summer.
A new season of Big Brother begins this July, with a new group of houseguests along for the ride. The familiar $750,000 prize is on the line again, and Julie returns as the host.
Here is the July 2025 episode schedule, which begins with a 90-minute season premiere. We also receive 90-minute episodes every Wednesday night this summer, along with some bonus content on select Fridays.
We have to wait a bit longer to learn the names of the BB27 cast members, but that’s what happens every summer. Hopefully, it’s a good mix of people who want to be in the game, and doesn’t include anyone threatening to quit after a rough week.

The Big Brother fans react to Julie’s latest tease
Many Big Brother fans and fan sites have made guesses about the theme for BB27. Below are a few of their social media posts.
“Could this year’s Big Brother US theme be secrets? The top secret documents… the whispering on the promos… #BB27,” wrote one X user.
One Big Brother fan pointed to the CBS commercials and how whispering has been featured. They also shared two of the BB27 commercials.
“There is no way this season isn’t going to be “The Summer Of Secrets” everything says top secret and in the commercials, it’s all whispering. So what else could the theme of #BB27 be?” the X user wrote.
Another fan made some guesses about what the secrets could be this summer.
“I wonder what the secret is… How about some or all of them are secret relatives of past houseguests? I don’t think they’ve done that yet!” they wrote.
No matter what the Big Brother 27 theme turns out to be, we are roughly a month away from the start of the game. Hopefully, it’s a live move-in event again, but it’s possible that the houseguests could enter the game a few days before the season premiere episode.
