Big Brother 28 cast applications are still open, and the show is looking for more people to apply.
Several recent social media notes from the casting department reveal that they are still working hard on the BB28 cast.
The great news is that there is still time to apply for the Summer 2026 season. And a nice $750,000 prize is on the line.
Long-time casting director Jesse Tannenbaum still wants fans to keep applying, and it’s easy to do exactly that.
How long is Big Brother 28 casting open?
Jesse Tannenbaum recently gave fans a window for the Big Brother 28 casting process.
“Our 28th season of Big Brother, crazy to say that out loud, is currently casting as we speak,” Jesse stated.
“We’re going through submissions all the way through mid- end of May 2026,” he added. “So, if you haven’t applied yet, this is your message to go on the website and apply.”
“Or maybe you’re not that familiar with Big Brother, but we are looking for people from all different walks of life from all over the US who want to come and move into the Big Brother house all summer long, and play this game of human chess, okay?” he elaborated
What are producers looking for from Big Brother 28 cast members?
Jesse Tannenbaum also revealed what the producers are looking for in a cast member. If these attributes apply to you, you should consider applying to be on the show.
“So, we are looking for competitive, outgoing, expressive, animated, unfiltered, authentic, fun people that just don’t take themselves too seriously, but have a strategic mindset that want to maneuver their way through this house to get to the final two chairs and plead their case of why they deserve to win Season 28 of Big Brother,” Jesse explained.
