When last we saw Big Brother, a medieval twist arrived. This happened shortly after Mallory was evicted.
Four alums appeared and led the final 10 houseguests through a series of challenges.
Safety was provided in each of the four challenges, but the last episode ended before we saw the final challenge.
This new Big Brother episode from September 2 had a lot of ground to cover.
Big Brother 28, Episode 27 recap
The new episode began with a recap and then jumped into Barrett deciding which two people would compete in the final contest.
Barrett won the third challenge, giving him the power to set the matchups for the fourth challenge. Haley lost the third challenge, so she was already in it. That left two spots for Barrett to fill. The icons pushed him to send La Trice and Taylor, but they wanted to protect Haley. Barrett had other ideas and worked on a plan with Yash.
La Trice and Yash were sent to battle Haley in the final challenge. The winner of the match between La Trice, Yash, and Haley would get to decide which of the other two people got eliminated. Barrett wanted Yash to win and send Haley home.
Yash won the final challenge. He chose to eliminate Haley.
Taylor and La Trice celebrated a lot when they returned to the house.
Barrett celebrated in the Diary Room. He said that this shot at Dee was because she targeted Mallory.
Zingbot pops by for some roasting
The final nine players got to meet Zingbot. He zinged them. Some of the zingers were rough, including the one about Drew having no shot with Melody after she friend-zoned him.

Time for a new Head of Household on Big Brother 28
Zingbot took the Dining Room Table Time Machine. He interacted with people from the past, and stories were revealed. The houseguests then had to answer questions about them.
Drew won the HOH Competition and took power.
Who did Drew nominate on Big Brother?
When chatting about nominations, Devens volunteered to be a pawn. Devens and Drew wanted to keep Yash from winning the Power of Veto. Dee called it a “stupid” idea and told Devens he was “crazy” for considering the idea.
Later, Drew backed away from the idea.
Drew nominated La Trice, Taylor, and Yash. We are all shocked. But not really. We are being heavily sarcastic. La Trice and Taylor are on their way to becoming the most nominated duo in the history of the show.
Melody said Drew’s nominations “lack backbone,” and she lost even more respect for him.
An important Power of Veto for the BB28 cast
Dee and Melody joined La Trice, Taylor, Drew, and Yash in the Veto Competition.
Ahead of the Veto Competition, Melody said she was pushing to win the POV. Drew said he would try to stop her, and she said that he would be unhappy if she won. She was ready to use that POV.
The challenge required players to place balls (gold) on a seesaw without any falling out. The first one to place all their gold would win the Power of Veto.

Yash won the Power of Veto. He came through with his game on the line. This was exactly what Drew didn’t want to see.
Drew, Barrett, and Devens met afterward. Devens volunteered AGAIN to go on the block.
Barrett loved the idea. He celebrated the chance in the Diary Room. He really wanted to flip things.
Later, Melody went to hang out with Drew. She wanted to make sure she wouldn’t be nominated. Melody asked Drew if he was ever going to try to redeem himself.
Speaking to the camera (alone), Drew considered nominating Dee. He was upset that she hadn’t spoken to him about noms.
Yash saved himself at the Veto Ceremony.
Drew named Devens as the replacement nominee.
This sets up an exciting episode on Thursday night.
