A new Big Brother season arrives this summer.
Very few details have been revealed so far, but the good news is that the show has been renewed.
It’s been many months since Ashley Hollis won Big Brother 27. It was an unexpected outcome.
Many fans thought Vince Panero or Morgan Pope would win instead.
That last season also featured BB13 winner Rachel Reilly and America’s Favorite Houseguest Keanu Soto.
Could we see another former player return in a BB28 twist? Maybe. But we will have to wait and see.
Julie Chen Moonves should be back
It’s expected that Julie Chen Moonves will host Big Brother 28. She is back to interviewing former houseguests and dropping clues during the offseason.
Recently, Julie seems to have teased BB28. Some fans think it has something to do with the theme, but we aren’t quite sure yet.
New players for Big Brother 28 or returners?
Applications are open for the Big Brother 28 cast. The producers are also hosting open casting calls.
This all points to new houseguests. Many fans prefer new folks anyway.
One fan did construct a New School All-Stars cast. It brings back notable players from the New Era. Those seasons are considered everything that came after BB22.
Huge cash prize on the line again
The $750,000 prize returns for BB28. It’s life-changing money for someone, with an additional prize going to the fans’ favorite houseguest.
Recent Big Brother winners are Ashley Hollis (BB27), Chelsie Baham (BB26), Jag Bains (BB25), Taylor Hale (BB24), and Xavier Prather (BB23).
Nicole Franzel also won the spin-off show, Big Brother: Reindeer Games.
When is the Big Brother 28 start date?
CBS has not yet revealed the start date. Previously on Tea On TV, we suggested that July 8 or July 9 would make sense. But we have to wait a bit longer for confirmation. Typically, the new cast begins playing the game around the end of June or the beginning of July.
We will share any additional information we get as it comes along, including the BB28 theme, the BB28 cast list, and any expected twists.
