The Big Brother 28 cast has been busy, with lots of action becoming obvious with the Live Feeds on.
Sunday, July 12 marks Day 6 of the Summer 2026 season. The houseguests began playing the game on Tuesday, July 7, even though the season premiere was on Thursday, July 9.
We have 17 people on the Big Brother 28 cast. That includes the 14 original houseguests and three reality TV icons.
Rachel Reilly also died on the premiere, but the Unlocked hosts time-traveled and saved her the next night. Yes, that really happened.
Updates from the Big Brother 28 cast
Below is a breakdown of what has happened during Week 1 of Big Brother 28 (so far). Yes, there are lots of spoilers.
- Dee Valladares is the Week 1 Head of Household. She beat Rick Devens and Angela Murray to secure the spot.
- The five Have-Nots are Taylor Brown, Rick Devens, Drew Campbell, Haley Thogmartin, and Chuk Anyanwu. Here’s a link to a revelation of what the Have-Not Room looks like. It’s rough!
- Dee nominated Mallory Aurichio, Taylor Brown, and Yash Patel for eviction. She claimed the target was Mallory.
- Barrett Pfeiffer and Melody Morris were selected to play in the Veto Competition.
- Dee, Mallory, Taylor, Yash, Barrett, and Melody played for the Power of Veto on Saturday (July 11).
- Mallory won the Power of Veto.
- Mallory will host the Veto Meeting on Monday (July 13) and save herself from the block.
- Dee must name a replacement nominee at the Veto Meeting. It will be her fourth nominee of the week.
- Taylor, Yash, and the replacement nominee will play in the BB Blockbuster Challenge on July 16.
- Later on July 16, one person from this trio will be evicted and sent home.
- Jason De Puy, Chuk Anyanwu, and Rome Seymour are safe for the week. They each won a Day 1 challenge to gain safety.
