The Big Brother 28 cast played in the latest Veto Competition on Saturday (July 25).
This was an important one, not just for the nominees, but also for someone the new HOH is targeting.
When viewers last saw the hamsters, Rome had been evicted, and the houseguests were preparing to play in a new Head of Household Competition.
The feeds were also messy because nobody could figure out who gave Rome a sympathy vote. Lyric voted to evict him, but Taylor decided to muddy the waters by voting to evict Melody.

Kamu won the HOH Competition. He took power, but it might as well have been one of the reality TV icons. Kamu was ready to grant them safety for the week. Again.
A plan was formed to target Jason, but they didn’t want him to play for the Power of Veto.
Instead, Kamu nominated Mallory, Lala, and Lyric. Taylor escaped having to see the block, but Lyric was right back up there. Melody also got a reprieve.
Meanwhile, most of the house knew that Jason was the target. A plan had already been formulated to name him the replacement nominee at the Veto Ceremony, regardless of who won the Power of Veto.
Well, the Veto Competition happened on Saturday. Jason and Haley were selected to join the quartet.
Who won the Power of Veto on Big Brother 28?
Kamu, Lyric, Lala, Mallory, Jason, and Haley competed in the Week 3 Veto Competition.
The feeds were down for hours on July 25, and when they returned, we got an interesting surprise.
Lyric on the Power of Veto. She has proven capable of winning a challenge to save herself, giving her the rest of the week to rest and relax.
This sets the plan in full motion.
Lyric will save herself from the block at the upcoming Veto Ceremony.
Kamy then plans to name Jason as the replacement nominee.
Jason, Lala, and Mallory should be the final nominees. And each will play in the Week 3 BB Blockbuster Challenge.
Jason can still save himself, but his back’s against the wall again.
