A possible Big Brother 28 tease hit social media this week.
This is about the time of year that host Julie Chen Moonves begins dropping hints, which led many fans to conclude her post is about BB28.
The producers are accepting applications for a new season, and we expect it to debut this summer.
But most details are still a secret. That is, unless Julie just revealed something with her sly new post?
Did Julie Chen Moonves tease Big Brother 28?
“7️⃣7️⃣7️⃣ 🤗🍀,” reads a new Instagram post from the Big Brother host.
A picture shows her holding the seven ball while standing at a pool table. Julie appears to have been at an event, as she slyly smiles for the camera.
But what does any of it mean? Is it really about Big Brother? Or was she only teasing a lucky number on St. Patrick’s Day?
Alums and fans certainly think she is teasing BB28.

“7 bb returners, 7 newbs, 7 former survivor or racers 7️⃣7️⃣7️⃣ also call me I have endless good ideas,” commented Big Brother alum Britney Haynes.
“Ooooohhhh I AM SAT 🔒,” wrote Christie Murphy from BB21.
“7 returning players,” noted Kat Dunn from BB21.
Many other alums used emojis to share their feelings, including Angela Murray from BB26, Paul Abrahamian from BB18 and BB19, and Jessie Godderz from BB10 and House of Villains.
“Ooooo I CAN’T WAIT FOR BB28!!,” exclaimed Adrian Rocha from BB27.
The fans got in on the action as well.
“Chiiiiiiiiii here you goooo! Summer starting SOON,” noted one BB fan.
“The teasers have begun let’s gooooo,” wrote another fan.
“July 7th 2026 #BB28 Premiere Date 📅 📆 eek 😬 🤩🥳🎉🎊,” someone else guessed.
What does Julie mean by her post?
The jury is still out on exactly what Julie is insinuating here. Maybe we are looking at a casino theme for BB28?
Maybe she did indeed reveal a start date of July 7?
That would be odd, though, because July 7 falls on a Tuesday. Typically, new seasons begin on Wednesday or Thursday.
No matter what she means by her post, Julie succeeded in creating buzz for Big Brother 28. And we expect more posts from her as the season gets closer.
