Big Brother alum Tommy Bracco advances on 99 to Beat

Tommy Bracco has advanced to the next round of 99 to Beat. The Big Brother alum is one of 100 people invited to participate in the inaugural season of the US version.

99 to Beat is a game show that originated in Belgium back in 2018. This fall, FOX has debuted its first season in the United States, with new episodes airing weekly after The Floor (hosted by Rob Lowe).

Each week, the remaining contestants compete in physical and unique challenges. The goal is not to finish first, but to not finish last. It is a tagline used frequently during episodes.

Ken Jeong from the Hangover movies and The Masked Singer, and sports reporter Erin Andrews, host the fun new show. During each episode, four individual games and one team game are played, with players eliminated at the end of each game.

A $1 million prize is on the line, and someone must win 40 games to take the cash prize. Many of the games are unique, but some have been played for years; now taking the big stage on primetime television.

Below is a trailer for the first season that was released this fall.

Reality TV stars are doing well on 99 to Beat

Tommy Bracco from Big Brother 21, Survivor winner Danni Boatwright, and Cara Maria Sorbello from The Challenge have each survived the first five episodes.

Episode 5 aired on October 22, and Tommy, Danni, and Cara all advanced. With roughly 40 people left to beat, the reality TV stars are doing very well.

Big Brother fans saw Tommy play in Summer 2019. He was part of a major alliance that controlled the game. This was the season that Jackson Michie won -the runner-up was Holly Allen. Also, the fans voted for Nicole Anthony to be America’s Favorite Houseguest (AFH).

Tommy, a Broadway dancer from Staten Island, New York, finished in fifth place. He has remained friends with many people from BB21, as well as various other Big Brother alums.

Now FOX viewers can tune in on Wednesday nights at 9/8c to see him competing on 99 to Beat.

On social media, Tommy and his dad hosted a family edition of the show. The video below showcases a challenge they transferred from the show.
