Many Big Brother fans miss the Key Wheel.
Viewers who only recently started watching Big Brother may not even know what that is.
One of the big moments at the Nomination Ceremony used to include a Key Wheel.
That also became a significant part of the nomination episodes, adding some drama to the night.
Recent years have seen a Key Block, with only two keys placed in that block by the Head of Household.
The HOH then turns those keys, leading to the images of the nominees appearing on the Dining Room wall.
What was the Key Wheel on Big Brother?
Everyone in the Big Brother house used to have a key assigned to them.
Those keys were kept with their Memory Wall photos.
When an HOH prepared the eviction nominees each week, they would place the keys of the safe individuals in the Key Wheel.
At the Nomination Ceremony, houseguests took turns pulling a key from the wheel. If your key was pulled, you were safe, and you would pull the following key.
After all the keys had been pulled from the Key Wheel, the people left without keys were the nominees for the week.
It was tense as people waited for their keys, which added to the drama in those Sunday night episodes.

Big Brother fans want the Key Wheel back
Many Big Brother fans are sharing their thoughts about the Key Wheel on social media. This stems from the recent teasers from the show and host Julie Chen Moonves.
“I haven’t actually watched Big Brother since BB18 (i’ve kept up on twitter yearly) but BRING BACK THE KEY NOMINATION WHEEL,” wrote one fan.
“48 keys. Julie in red. That smirk says everything. No twist reveal (yet), but the theories are already spiraling. Key wheel? Secret room? Total chaos? #BB27 is coming for us. Thoughts?” postulated another X account.
“Since they want to show keys hopefully they bring back the key wheel for this season #BB27,” posted another BB fan.

Whether or not the Key Wheel returns, Big Brother is back with new episodes this summer. The season premiere is on Thursday, July 10.
