Big Brother fans saying the show is ‘rigged’ for Angela to win

Many Big Brother fans feel the season is rigged for Angela Murray to win. Yes, some of these fans are the same ones who accused her of working for production during her first season.

When Angela was invited back for a second chance, there was certainly an online backlash from some Big Brother fans. Some people were very frustrated to see her (and Rachel Reilly) during the season premiere.

“Omg please don’t make us go through this again,” one fan wrote.

Some fans were intrigued by the chaos she could bring to BB28.

“Angela was such an awful, deranged person but I’m still excited to see her again. I’m not excited to read how much people love her and think she’s a victim and an icon. She’s insane and embarrassing. Why can’t we just appreciate her for that? #bb28,” posted another fan.

But when Angela recently won the BB28 Fan Vote and got to enter the Time Capsule, it was too much for some viewers.

Some Big Brother fans are even more upset about Angela’s support

As a reminder, fans can vote each week to send a BB28 cast member into the Time Capsule. That’s where they can get a power or a punishment from a past season. Angela got punished and has had to wear an Egg Detective costume for a week.

Despite not having a power “given” to her, the backlash on social media has intensified.

“This season is so rigged for Devens/Angela/Dee ugh I’m about to tune out on this flop of a season.#BB28,” posted a fan named Brian Thompson.

“The fact they even rigged the power comp for Angela cause it was the one she won on her season and SHE STILL LOST #bb28,” posted another bitter fan.

“Angela still losing a competition that was clearly rigged for her to win #bb28,” said someone calling themselves the Pipe Queen.

“This season seems more rigged than previous seasons. So Dee and Devens win HOH and Angela wins the chance to win a power. #bb28,” posted someone going by Cindy Ross.

And those are just some of the comments, with many more really tearing into Angela, some of whom are still referencing stuff from the BB26 season.

Other folks are complaining that they don’t see the appeal of having her on the show.

“Can someone please explain the appeal of Angela to me. She’s a terrible ally. Performative as hell. Sucks strategically. I don’t get why everyone was so excited to see her back #bb28,” wrote a user named Nicholas.

So what do you think? Was Big Brother 28 rigged for Angela? Or did the producers know that bringing her on would lead to more fan involvement? So far, they would be right.
