We have a new Head of Household. They were crowned late on Thursday evening.
Earlier in the night, Chuk got evicted in a very one-sided vote. Only Haley tried to save him.
And did Barrett throw that BB Blockbuster Challenge? Big Brother fans are very suspicious.
Either way, Haley stayed in the game and could be someone to watch out for in Week 6. But she’s not the new HOH.
A new Head of Household and thoughts on their nominees
Yash is the new HOH. He is in power for the first time this summer. And his nominations are not easy to predict.
Soon after winning, Yash celebrated with Taylor and La Trice. The ladies appear very safe. They were already starting to really work with him last week.
Outside of that trio, everyone else is fair game. But which shot does Yash want to take?
Yash hosts his Nomination Ceremony on Friday afternoon (August 14). That’s when we find out his three nominees.
Barrett thinks that Yash will nominate Haley, Angela, and either Dee or Melody. That would put three women on the block this week.
Would Yash take the first shot at the icons? He committed to that bit in earlier chats with La Trice and Taylor. Yash is also on good terms with Devens. That might spare Devens for now.
It would be very good for Yash’s game to stay away from Devens, as the Survivor alum still has that Diamond Power of Veto.
If Dee gets wind of being on the block (there is already murmuring in the house), she can use her BB Bribe to convince Yash to save her. That would likely lead to Angela, Haley, and Melody being nominated.
Yash and Mallory are also close. So Mallory could try to protect Melody if she is asked for her thoughts.
Kamu believes Yash will nominate Haley, Angela, and Barrett. If Barrett is at risk, could Drew be at risk as well?
The HOH Room was still not revealed at 1:31 a.m. house time, so many chats have to wait until later on Friday.
