The Week 2 Veto Meeting just happened on Big Brother 27. There was plenty of buildup to the event, especially with new powers in play. Jimmy relished the chance at becoming the Week 2 Head of Household, but he may come to regret that decision. After nominating three people for eviction (Keanu, Adrian, and Kelley), he also had to contend with powers that could shake things up.
And shake things up, they did. Keanu used his power to get a second shot at the Power of Veto. That came in the form of Big Brother 20 winner Kaycee Clark. Kaycee became the sixth player in the Veto Competition, and she won it. Her incentive was a cash prize that was on the line, and it gave Keanu the chance to save himself from the block. But wait, folks, that’s not all.
Kelley indicated she would enact her power. This meant she could play in a special one-person challenge after the Veto Meeting. She could win a second Power of Veto and then take herself off the block. This meant that Jimmy had to decide what he would do with Keanu’s spot before the results of Kelley’s challenge were known. It was a difficult spot to be in.
What happened at the Veto Meeting?
Jimmy has been floating the idea of evicting Adrian. It meant he needed people on the block who would be safe against him. The planned replacement nominees were set as Amy and Will, should Kelley win her challenge. And that’s exactly what will happen if Kelley wins the second veto, saving herself from the block. Jimmy officially named Amy as the replacement nominee for Keanu at the Veto Meeting.
Amy was told ahead of time that she would be the replacement nominee for Keanu. She was understandably upset. The Accomplice could be in danger again this week, but it all depends on how the campaign trail goes over the next three days.
The nominees for the week are now Adrian, Kelley, and Amy. The trio can save themselves during the upcoming BB Blockbuster on July 24. It’s not an easy challenge, though. For some odd reason, Adrian has been thinking about throwing the challenge so that he can eliminate someone else. But that’s as silly as when Kelley was volunteering to go on the block.
Kelley will play in a special challenge on her own very soon. If she wins that new Veto, Jimmy plans to place Will on the block. If she comes up short, Kelley may be at risk of being voted out. It’s messy, and it could lead to some interesting drama on the feeds over the next few days.
Meanwhile, BB fans are still debating about the slur Zae used in the house. There are many folks on each side of the issue. As a reminder, Zae Frederich was the first BB27 cast member sent home.
