Did the Big Brother 28 Tea Party tank Kamu’s game?

The Big Brother 28 Live Feeds almost had a really exciting moment on Sunday. Early in the day, we learned that Kamu Kirk was hosting a Tea Party to celebrate the season.

But Kamu also planned the Tea Party to call out Jason. The confrontation was set up to be pretty exciting, but it very quickly turned chaotic and boring.

Be aware that this article contains some spoilers from what happened at the Veto Competition. Nearly everything in the house is set for the upcoming Eviction Ceremony.

As a reminder, Kamu nominated La Trice, Lyric, and Mallory. But he planned to put Jason on the block as a replacement nominee later on.

The Big Brother 28 Tea Party fizzles out, hurts Kamu’s game

Many houseguests thought the Tea Party was just a fun get-together. But Kamu just wanted to be messy.

Kamu began it all with a long speech about the season, and it devolved into him saying that Jason needed to be on the block because he had broken an agreement. That agreement being that he would be safe if he did what Kamu asked should he win the Power of Veto.

But nearly the entire house already knew that Jason was going to be on the block. So it turned into one of those group meetings that would have been better settled by an e-mail.

Kamu accused Jason of telling all the nominees he would save them with the Power of Veto if he won it. But he didn’t do that, and Lala spoke up to say Jason never promised her that. So Kamu pivoted, implying that Jason would become a replacement nominee based on what others had told him.

Kamu kept going back to claims that other people had told him things, but would never reveal names, which frustrated Jason a lot.

For most of the Tea Party, many people were silent. And there was so much awkwardness. Moments of silence can be bad, and this group made it look like torture. Add to it that nobody knew how to adjourn it. Taylor gave up, and Devens tried to adjourn, but for fear, many people were worried about leaving.

Negative fan reaction to the BB28 Tea Party

Meanwhile, fans watching on Big Brother Live Feeds were left wondering what the point was. Nothing was accomplished. Jason is STILL the target.

The result is that fewer people will trust Kamu, and his theatrics may have put a real dent in his chances to win Big Brother 28.

Here’s a link to info on the Power of Veto winner and their plans. The BB28 house is nearly ready for another eviction.
