Did the worst move in Big Brother history just get made?

The Big Brother Live Feeds revealed some unbelievable spoilers from this past week. Ava Pearl is the Head of Household, and even she has been shocked by how things played out. Meanwhile, Marcellas Reynolds may be feeling better about life now.

Marcellas is famous for being on the block, winning the Power of Veto, and not using it on himself. He thought he was safe, but after declining to use the POV on himself, the BB3 cast sent him packing. The embarrassing moment made history.

Now, someone from the Big Brother 27 cast is trying to take his spot atop the list of the biggest mistakes players have ever made. And it didn’t have to go this way. After Ava nominated Keanu, Zach, and Vinny for eviction, there were plenty of chances to shake things up.

A Power of Veto and an unused Big Brother power

Katherine won the Power of Veto. After many discussions about what she might do with it, and Ava getting ready with her replacement nominee, Katherine decided not to use it. She felt it would protect people close to her and ensure the nominations stayed the same.

But Zach still held a secret power. Back on the first day of the season, Zach won $10,000 and a special power. He could use that money to pay the HOH to escape the block if he remained on the block after a Veto Ceremony. Indeed, Zach was still on the block after the Week 5 Veto Ceremony.

Zach did not use his power. He was convinced that he was safe, and Zach passed up the chance to save himself. He bet on himself, and it could be costly. Now, Zach might get sent home during the upcoming Eviction Ceremony. It was a dumb move. He should have bought his safety, but maybe he felt that he needed to leave the show with at least a $10,000 bonus.

Elsewhere in the house, people are plotting against Zach. He has become a new target for the Week 5 Eviction Ceremony, and he could have avoided it by using the power that he earned. Oops.

Do you think Zach made the dumbest move in Big Brother history? Is there any chance he can still find safety this week?

Are the rules for Zach’s power unclear? Some fans feel that when it stated the power could be used “after the Veto Ceremony,” he could still use it now. Stay tuned on that front! We will likely learn for sure during the Wednesday night episode.
