Big Brother 28 houseguest Rick Devens has the Diamond Power of Veto.
It’s a huge power that he won through the BB28 Fan Vote.
Devens entered the Time Capsule, timed the screens correctly, and walked away with a huge power.
With his closest ally on the block this week (Dee), he might use that power to save her.
But online fans have become a bit confused about how it works since the rules of the Diamond Power of Veto have changed over the years.
How does the Diamond Power of Veto work on Big Brother 28?
The Diamond Power of Veto allows Devens to save someone from the block and then choose the replacement nominee.
His moment to use the power comes at the end of the Veto Ceremony (Veto Meeting) hosted on Mondays.
First up, the regular Power of Veto winner hosts the meeting. Once the POV winner has opted to use or not use that power, Devens takes over.
At that point, Devens can save someone from the block (probably Dee) and nominate anyone who doesn’t already have safety.
The HOH, the original POV winner, and the person the POV winner saves are safe from Devens.
His power must be used at the Veto Ceremony. It works by simply interrupting the HOH before they end the Veto Ceremony. This will add some definite drama to the event and draw a line in the sand.

The Live Feeds have provided spoilers about what might happen with Devens and his power.

Yash Patel is the current HOH. He nominated Haley, Dee, and Angela.
Later, Yash also won the Power of Veto. So he controls most of the Veto Ceremony.
Yash stated that he will not use the Power of Veto. His nominations will remain the same.
Then, Devens will interrupt everything and use his Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee. He plans to name Kamu as the replacement nominee.
The final nominees will then be Angela, Haley, and Kamu.
In this scenario, Haley or Kamu would go home. One of them could win the BB Blockbuster, leaving the other one on the block. As it stands, a new alliance of Melody, Mallory, Barrett, Drew, Dee, and Devens wants to vote out Kamu. But they will settle for Haley.
