Jackson Duggar praises Jim Bob during awkward interview

Jackson Duggar fumbled during a recent interview.

It’s been some time since any member of the Duggar family has spoken publicly, but Jackson ended up being asked about his most significant financial flex.

He is the youngest of the Duggar sons, with the remaining siblings being the younger set of sisters at home.

There hasn’t been much said from Jackson over the years. He was born when the Duggars first debuted on television and was just barely an adult when TLC cut ties with the family.

Interestingly, Jackson was the subject of the interview before the interviewer learned he grew up on a reality TV show. That’s when things went from boring to awkward.

Jim Bob Duggar was also seen in the video, albeit briefly.

Jackson Duggar brags about financial flex

At just 21, Jackson Duggar owns 10 acres of land. There is no home on the property yet, as he explained, it is empty land.

The price of the acreage equals $350,000, which Jackson was quick to drop.

When the interviewer probed about whether his appearance on the reality TV show helped with the money, the Duggar son was quick to try to deflect. The fumble began there, as Jackson’s words were coming out faster than he could think.

Jill Duggar revealed that she wasn’t paid for her participation in the reality TV shows, and she had to hire a lawyer to receive her portion. It appears that may not have been the case for Jackson.

Jim Bob Duggar rakes in high praise

As the interview progressed, Jackson Duggar was more than happy to praise his dad. Jim Bob Duggar even waved at the camera while his son was speaking.

He credited his father for being able to afford the property he owns at a young age. Jackson made sure to mention that the reality TV money wasn’t a lot, but his father helped him grow it to where he is today.

The youngest Duggar son also took the opportunity to speak up for his dad and the family as a whole. Jackson made sure to mention that they were not in a cult, despite their ties to Bill Gothard. He name-dropped him and confirmed they attended the conferences, but were not involved in everything he had his hands in.

There was also high praise for his parents, with mention of how they raised him with the Gospel in mind. Jackson even mentioned the Amazon Prime documentary, which garnered considerable attention upon its debut.

It was clear that Jackson was trained on what to say, but not to the same extent as his older siblings, who had extensive conversations about how to handle the media.
