The latest drama from Jersey Shore involved Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino, and Angelina Pivarnick.
In a recent episode of Family Vacation, most of the JS crew and some significant others visited Jamaica as part of a memorable trip.
Jersey Shore OG Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio celebrated a dating anniversary with girlfriend Nikki Hall and initially tried to have a romantic dinner with her on the beach.
However, castmates crashed the dinner, with Mike, Lauren, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley showing up first, while Angelina got herself together.
Early into the trip, Angelina received a disturbing text from Vinny Tortorella, also known as Vinny 2.0, the man who had formerly been her fiance. Mike shared at the table that Angelina and Vinny 2.0 were no longer together.
Angelina eventually showed up for dinner, and things took a dramatic turn when Angelina kept steering the conversation toward topics about fornication.
What happened between Angelina and Lauren?
During the cast’s dinner conversation, Angelina began asking castmates about the craziest places they had done the deed. She asked Pauly and Nikki, before turning the question to Mike. His wife seemed irked beside him at the table as footage showed her staring at Angelina.
In a confessional, Lauren said the evening took “a raunchy, hard turn” due to Angelina’s comments and questions.
At the table, she shut down Angelina’s attempts to grill Mike on where he had fornicated before.
“I don’t think it’s your place to ask,” Lauren told Angelina from across the table, “If he doesn’t want to share it, then he doesn’t want to share it.”
In her confessional remarks, Lauren mentioned that she didn’t want her and Mike’s three small children to see this in the future.
“He said no three times,” she told Angelina, who got a serious look on her face and said, “Lauren, relax.”
A few flashback scenes showed Mike asking castmates at previous dinners about where they’ve done it. A scene showed Mike asking Vinny 2.0 his favorite position with Angelina sitting next to him at the table. Lauren was also there.
“Have you been in outer space at every dinner we go to?” Angelina mockingly asked about Lauren in a confessional.
Angelina also suggested that because she asked the same question as Mike, Lauren acted like she was a “b***h” for it.
Fans slammed Lauren after the Family Vacation drama
Fans certainly took notice of Lauren’s recent remarks and had a lot to say in the Jersey Shore Reddit forum.
“Lauren went down in history for making one of the hardest watches of the show last night. C U Next Tuesday for no reason,” one commenter wrote.
Another commenter said, “Lauren has been and always will be a pretentious b***h. She thinks she’s better than everyone and is on a high horse.”
That same commenter suggested that MTV limit Lauren’s appearances on the show in the future.
“Lauren is a perfect example of ‘money doesn’t give you class’ Its pretty sad that in this group, known at some points, as being the trashiest people on tv…SHE is the one that has the least class and respect,” a Reddit comment said.
“I never could understand why Mike put up with her condescending comments and holier than thou attitude,” someone else commented.
Those were several of the forum comments, and it appeared most people disliked Lauren for her incident with Angelina.
That said, next week’s Jersey Shore episode could feature another blowup. A preview revealed Angelina and Lauren will attempt to have a sit-down conversation.
