Joseph Duggar could be a contender for Santa Claus in the near future — especially if his facial hair turns gray.
Just days after his wife, Kendra Caldwell, made a rare appearance on social media, Joseph was captured at the Duggar Christmas celebration.
Jeremy Vuolo is known for documenting all the things his family does, which often includes spending time with the Duggars.
This year was the first Christmas that he and Jinger Duggar spent with her parents in Arkansas since they got married.
He made sure to capture moments with his kids, but also included shots of his brothers-in-law, Joseph and John David Duggar, posing alongside him.
Interestingly, they all were giving off Santa vibes, but Joseph looked the most like the red-suited character.
Joseph Duggar makes rare social media appearance
Joseph Duggar hasn’t been active on social media in years. He and Kendra stepped away from it once Counting On was canceled after having battled harsh criticism while opening their lives to the public.
The couple welcomed a fourth child without a big announcement, bringing the number of children they have to four. They have two boys and two girls, and are seemingly enjoying the quieter life off social media.
However, Joseph did pose with John David and Jeremy while celebrating Christmas at the Big House. He was sporting facial hair and a much different look than the clean-cut Duggar son he was portraying on Counting On and in the confessionals he shot.
Jeremy shared several photos in an Instagram carousel, but the ninth slide featured Joseph. It gave off Santa vibes from the three men, with Joseph having the closest resemblance to the jolly old man.
No longer being in the spotlight has offered some privacy for Joseph and Kendra, although they have occasionally appeared at Duggar weddings and other celebrations shared by his siblings.
What has Joseph Duggar been up to?
It’s been a few years since Counting On was canceled. It appears Joseph and Kendra have settled back into “normal life.” They were one of the couples still filming the show and were heavily featured throughout the entire series.
Their third child, Brooklyn, was given a birth special during the final season. After the show ended, Kendra welcomed the couple’s fourth child, a little boy named Justus.
Joseph and Kendra popped up in photos from Duggar events, but they haven’t used their social media platforms in years. They are no longer providing updates on their lives and haven’t done press or media in a long time.
