Karen Landry is getting real about how her confidence took a major hit after her divorce from Miles Williams.
The former Married at First Sight couple confirmed their separation in 2023 amid speculations that they had split.
For some time after Season 11, things appeared to be going well between the pair.
However, in late 2022, their social media accounts hinted at trouble in paradise.
Now, Karen is getting honest about her life post-divorce, confessing to the toll it has taken on her confidence.
Furthermore, that’s not the only aspect of her life that didn’t go as planned.
Karen Landry says her confidence took a hit after her divorce
Despite the setbacks in her personal and professional life, Karen is moving forward and embracing her “in-between season.”
The MAFS Season 11 alum posted a slew of Instagram photos, appearing to be in good spirits.
“I’ve spoken openly about feeling like I’m starting over and being so frustrated with that reality,” she noted in her Instagram post.
The New Orleans native thought by now she would have the house, the ideal job, and the family of her dreams.
Admittedly, life didn’t go the way she envisioned: “Inflation is real, the job market shifted, and divorce happened.”
“One of the hardest hits? My confidence,” Karen continued, “I caught myself wondering if I’d somehow fallen behind. But the truth is—starting over doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re building a life that actually fits you.”
The MAFS alum is getting back to her old self
Karen has been in a slump for quite some time, but is slowly getting back to her old self.
In recent months, she’s shared snaps of her social outings in the city, including time spent with her bestie, Amani Aliyya.
Amani’s husband, Woody Randall, is best friends with Karen’s ex-husband, Miles.
However, their split has not tarnished her close relationship with the popular MAFS couple.
Over the summer, the women stepped out for a cocktail event in New Orleans.
Karen also had a ball with Amani and Woody at the 2025 Essence Festival.
Married at First Sight is currently on hiatus.
