Below Deck Med star Malia White sure shocked her followers.
The former Deckhand and Bosun just had a baby! We didn’t even know she was pregnant!
Malia broke the news with an Instagram post. Many people in the comment section were in shock.
As a reminder, Malia was a Deckhand on season 2 of Below Deck Mediterranean. She returned for Season 5 as the ship’s new Bosun and continued in that role for Season 6.
An accident at her other job kept Malia from returning for Below Deck Med Season 7.
Malia made several appearances on Watch What Happens Live as well, but we haven’t seen her on the Below Deck shows for a while.
Malia White reveals her secret pregnancy
“We had a baby girl. And she’s healthy, and she’s home,” Malia told The Daily Dish. “It’s been just over a week now.”
“When they say this first, that bubble time when you’re just at home, and you’re kind of nesting and stuff, I thought it was going to drive me crazy, not leaving the house and whatnot, but I’ve actually loved it. It’s so nice,” Malia added about spending time with her daughter. “But I think that surprised me. Because I thought I was going to be a bit more antsy to get out. Get going.”

“How it started versus how it’s going 💕🥜,” Malia captioned her big reveal.
The post (shared below) has Malia sharing photos from her pregnancy. The final photo gives a tease about their beautiful new baby. Robert Kirby is the father.
Many people from the Below Deck family have shared messages of support.
“Congrats lovely 💕 I just heard last night from one of the crew I’m temping with now 🙂 so over the moon for you! Such amazing news👣✨,” wrote Natasha Webb from Below Deck Med.
“Wow congrats!” noted Daisy Kelliher from Sailing Yacht and Down Under.
Malia previously shared an update on what she had been up to with her beau, Robert.
“Finally posting Sweden & a few end of 2025 bits 🇸🇪💕,” she captioned a recent post.
