Derrek may be getting way too much, way too fast with his Married at First Sight relationship. He made it clear early that he wants three kids, but did he really want to start immediately?
The big pregnancy spoiler was finally revealed this week, and it turns out it’s Meghann and Derrek who are expecting. And that has many MAFS viewers taking pause because these are easily the most volatile couple thus far.
It could be due to creative editing or, dare we say, hormones, but Meghann has been pretty insufferable. After last week’s episodes, MAFS viewers were even calling her out and commenting that Derrek was done a disservice by MAFS experts.
He’s in it now, though, because that brand new couple revealed some very surprising pregnancy news.

“I knew Meghann was gonna be a problem when she was acting all uppity cause Derrek said he doesn’t listen to country music,” one viewer wrote and that is just one comment of many that take aim at the newly pregnant bride.
Another wrote, “Derrek…leave Meghann’s crazy a**alone. She DOES NOT compromise at all!!!“
“Derreck deserved better than that soul-sucking negative Nelly. I cannot understand why experts picked Meghann. She has issues and needs help. I think Mommy Dearest may be the reason,” another chimed in.
MAFS opinions haven’t changed after pregnancy announcement
With Meghann’s positive pregnancy test, Married at First Sight viewers have even more to say — and it’s not good.
“Derek is so reasonable and now Meghann is pregnant but congratulations to them. They definitely need to remain in couples therapy,” one viewer wrote after the big reveal.
Another shared, “I really hate that Derrek and Meghann are pregnant cause she’s gonna give him even more HELL.”
We can assume that if Meghann and Derrek were better suited for each other, Married at First Sight viewers would be more excited for them. After all,
Meghann is 37 years old and has already frozen her eggs, so she won’t miss an opportunity to have children. Derrek, who is 38, wants three children, and the topic of having children has been a hot one for them.
This pregnancy drama only serves to make Season 19 of Married at First Sight more interesting. And with the new episodes coming out in blocks, we’ll get to see plenty more of it on Thursday, November 13, when the next two episodes are available. Decision Day and the MAFS Season 19 finale will be aired on Thursday, November 20 on Peacock.
