The controversial Married at First Sight couple announced that they are now engaged and they look happier than ever.
It all went down last weekend as the pair celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with their friends, with Madison sharing the good news with her Instagram fans on Monday.
“The easiest yes of my life 😍,” she wrote, before adding, “Simply just over the moon from this weekend with a proposal and surprise engagement party with some of our closest friends and family. I love you more than anything @chitown_shark and I can’t wait to marry you! 💍❤️”
David and Madison met while filming Season 18 of Married at First Sight. The problem is, they weren’t matched with each other. Instead, David was matched with Michelle Tomblin, and Madison was matched with Allen Slovick.
While they should have been bonding with their new spouses, David and Madison were making sparks together. That led to an even bigger MAFS scandal when David was caught sending a flirty text to Madison that said, “You are so damn fine I just wanna eat U up.” When Michelle confronted Madison about the text, her castmate denied that anything was going on.
The MAFS lovers admitted their affair during a retreat that aired as Season 18, episode 18 when Allen confronted David and producers prompted Madison to talk about it. After the show, they continued dating and have been together for more than two years now.
Leading up to the engagement, the controversial MAFS couple have been open about their love for each other and have been spotted together often. Just months ago, David proclaimed his love for his “wifey” Madison, so it’s not a huge surprise that the pair is headed for a wedding day of their own.
