Pastor Cal teases ‘Married at First Sight will be back’

We’ve all been biting our nails waiting for the new season of Married at First Sight, but so far, we’ve heard nothing.

It’s safe to say we won’t be getting a summer premiere for Season 19.

However, we might be hearing more about the upcoming season very soon.

That is according to expert Pastor Cal, who was asked about the series during an Instagram Live and noted that MAFS “will be back.”

He reiterated that the show is switching to Peacock — a move that’s been a major point of contention for longtime fans.

Like it or not, the next three seasons will air on the streaming network, so let’s see if this big change will affect ratings.

MAFS expert Pastor Cal shares update on the upcoming season

Pastor Cal was on Instagram Live with his wife, Wendy, and he was asked about the show.

“Married at First Sight will be back on Peacock,” he affirmed.

“We’re no longer on Lifetime. If you’ve been looking at the news, you’ve noticed…”

As for when Season 19 will premiere, he didn’t give us a timeline for that, but teased that more details are coming.

“You will be seeing more advertisements about that later on, as the year goes by,” continued the MAFS expert.

“As the summer comes, you’re going to be hearing more about it.”

Season 19 was filmed in Austin

Meanwhile, @mafsfan, who always has the latest updates about the show, is also in the dark about when Season 19 will premiere.

In a recent post, the MAFS blogger responded to ongoing questions about the upcoming season.

“Unfortunately… I don’t know,” the post read.

“I’m assuming it will be in September or October, along with other new shows starting, but there hasn’t been a date put out yet.”

Meanwhile, @mafsfan has already given us a major Season 19 spoiler, revealing the names and photos of the couples.

The season was filmed in Austin, and there are rumors of a mother-daughter duo in the mix.
