One of the biggest differences between Season 19 of Married at First Sight on Peacock and previous seasons is that profanity is not bleeped out. That has become very obvious when it comes to 63-year-old Rhonda, who swears like a sailor.
MAFS fans have commented on social media about her frequent use of the F-bomb, with many finding it unflattering and others criticizing the streaming service for not editing it out.
This was especially apparent in the most recent set of episodes, which premiered on Peacock on Thursday, October 30, as the oldest MAFS couple sat down with a therapist to discuss recent disagreements.
But when it comes to Rhonda’s new husband, Patric, it seems that he’s not so worried about Rhonda’s foul mouth.
Patric shares a message with MAFS fans
Just two days after the new block of episodes, he took to Instagram to share a couple of photos that seem to share a message with fans. The first was a photo of himself and Rhonda. She was standing behind him with a huge grin on her face, hands on his shoulders as she leaned in. He was also smiling with muscled arms crossed. They look like a happy couple, despite having just met, as they got married and immediately dealt with issues that Rhonda was not shy about pointing out.
The second photo was just words and it read, “Life would be a lot more fun if everyone’s middle name was ‘motherf**kin.'” The caption further drove the point home as Patric wrote, “it would🙄🤣” and then tagged Rhonda.
There have been only two comments on the post so far, as we can assume that most Married at First Sight fans haven’t found his Instagram account yet. But clearly Patric and Rhonda have seen what is being said about them.
Will Rhonda and Patric make their Married at First Sight marriage work?
Initially, this MAFS couple was looking like a bust when Patric came out talking about nothing but space. He is truly obsessed and seemed pretty disappointed when Rhonda didn’t mention sci-fi as one of her favorite movie genres.
He was also throwing out red flags when Rhonda tried to share about herself and Patric immediately cut her off and returned to talking about his own interests. Rhonda called him out quick though, and thankfully, Patric took her criticism with grace, and made a better effort to get to know more about her.
As we get to know Rhonda and Patric better, it’s looking more like a possible MAFS success story. They’re both a bit quirky and even Rhonda’s kids told her to tone it down and not scare him off. But overall, it seems that Rhonda and Patric play off each other’s silliness and could end up making things work. We’ll just have to stick around and find out.
