Rizo Velovic fooled many Survivor fans during the latest episode. And some are still scratching their heads in the aftermath.
As a quick recap, the final eight castaways went to Tribal Council – most of the players unaware of who their true allies were in the game. But Rizo and Savannah Louie had an intricate plan to not only sus out who was on their side. They also wanted to see if Sage Ahrens-Nichols could be trusted.
Kristina Mills played her Immunity Idol to save Steven Ramm, which was part of their plan with Jawan Pitts to flush out Rizo’s Immunity Idol. But the plan backfired. Rizo went up to host Jeff Probst and presented an Idol, only for Jeff to reveal that it was a fake.
Rizo used the Fake Immunity Idol to study reactions and facial expressions. And his plan worked. He figured out that he could save his real Immunity Idol, thus keeping his biggest weapon in his pocket for a future Tribal Council.
Many Survivor fans get fooled by Rizo
Social media is packed with responses from Survivor fans who didn’t understand what happened. Many fans got duped into believing Rizo never had a real Immunity Idol. He played it perfectly, but also got an assist from the show’s producers.

Yes, Rizo still has a real Immunity Idol in his possession, and his fans loved every minute of the scheme orchestrated during Episode 10.
