Survivor 50 has been full of surprises, including the recent appearance by YouTube legend, MrBeast.
Fans have known the episode was coming for a while, and it did not disappoint.
In an epic moment for the show, Rick Devens flipped a coin that would decide his fate in the game. He felt he was out of options and needed a miracle to stay in the game.
Devens got his miracle. Not only did he call the coin flip correctly, but he got immunity from the vote and an Immunity Idol to take back to camp. That was huge. And it may have saved him.
Meanwhile, it spelled doom for Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, who finished in 10th place after getting voted out on Day 19.
Rizo Velovic wanted to flip that MrBeast coin
Commenting on the episode (Season 50, Episode 10), Survivor 49 alum Rizo Velovic revealed what kept him from trying to flip that coin.
“Part of me wanted to flip the Mr Beast coin for the moment,” Rizo noted on X.
It certainly would have been a big moment for him, especially after he revealed how much his brother enjoys watching MrBeast content. Had he secured that $2 million prize for everyone, his legend would have grown even more.
“But then I stared at Cirie at tribal and I can sense her telling me ‘if you don’t sit your a** down.’ #Survivor50,” Rizo added to his note.
It was hilarious that he wrote it, and it echoed exactly what we expected to see from Cirie Fields.
Sit, he did. And he got to celebrate Devens’ big moment. Later, he would help vote out Stephenie. It was a big day for Rizo and his closest allies.
“Praying you’re playing the long game here and actually going to the end with Cirie and Ozzy. I’m so tired of people dumping their number ones at the end. Wouldn’t it be ironic in the best way if Cirie’s Rizard of Oz actually ends up being the real Honor and Integrity alliance?” replied Lexa Power on X.
Rizo has become a legend for many viewers
“Rizo is a MOTHER #Survivor50,” another X account wrote while sharing a video from the episode.
“Words that can only come out of a survivor legend. He’s becoming my favorite new era player. There’s not much competition because i hate the new era. But new era got us Rizo,” another fan noted.
