Survivor 50 tribes revealed ahead of new season

The Survivor 50 tribes provide some interesting insights into the new season. Producers invited back 24 familiar faces to compete on the 50th season of the hit reality competition show.

Recently, host Jeff Probst revealed why they chose Rizo Velovic and Savannah Louie to play again. CBS viewers just saw them on the Survivor 49 cast.

The names of the players for the new season have been leaked for a while, as it was hard to keep things under wraps since filming had already completed.

As for the tribal breakdowns, fan site Inside Survivor dropped that information a while back. It gives us an early look at how the new season will begin, and what the producers thought would be fun to watch.

What are the Survivor 50 tribes?

The 24 players from this season were placed on three tribes. Those tribe colors are Purple, Teal, and Orange. Below is a breakdown of the tribes and bios for each player.

The Purple Tribe:

More details about Survivor 50

The Survivor 50 season premiere airs on Wednesday, February 25. CBS will fill primetime with additional content about the show in the weeks leading up to it. That includes showing older episodes featuring these players.

It has also been revealed that the season premiere is three hours long. We will see much of the new cast as the producers spend lots of time reintroducing the fans to them.
