Recently, The Challenge rookie America Lopez became associated with rumors about cheating during the filming of MTV’s 41st season, Vets and New Threats.
She previously debuted on CBS’s Big Brother in Season 25, where she met fellow houseguest Cory Wurtenberger.
A showmance sparked between the two BB stars, with America and Cory continuing their relationship away from the show.
Based on previous gossip and recent remarks from Johnny Bananas, America wasn’t totally faithful to Cory while filming MTV’s Vets and New Threats.
Bananas spilled the tea about the former Big Brother star during his podcast, even name-dropping several castmates that America made out with.
However, several of America and Bananas’ castmates from Vets and New Threats have since gone public about some of the rumors.
Did America cheat with CT on The Challenge 41?
During his Death, Taxes and Bananas podcast, Bananas suggested that America made out with Dee Valladeres on their bus ride after the club.
In addition, he claimed America made out with or tried to make out with CT Tamburello. That sparked fans of The Challenge online to speculate further that America had cheated with CT while filming Season 41.
However, Bananas is one of several The Challenge 41 stars talking about the America cheating rumors. Rookie Ben Davis, who hosts the Do Not Resuscitate podcast with his friend Riley, spoke about what had occurred while filming.
Ben explained that he saw America make out with several cast members, but he believes that a joke started circulating that she tried to make out with CT.
However, Ben says it was merely a joke and he doesn’t believe that she actually tried to kiss CT. Instead, the joke became something other castmates heard and started to think of as the truth.
“I dont think that was one of the people she was going at,” he told his co-host.
America’s The Challenge 41 castmates shut down the CT rumor online
One of the notable gossip and spoilers accounts shared a message on X suggesting America did things with six castmates, including Dee, Ben, and CT.
“Leo, Dee, Tay, Ben, Yeremi, CT….. wheewwwww someone had a TIMEEEEE that night!” the popular gossip and spoiler account, @GamerVev, posted on X.
However, Season 41 rookie Leka Sodade fired back with a reply to shut down the CT part.
“America never hooked up with CT. Stop this narrative,” Leka told everyone in her X reply.
In another reply to that X post, Ben responded to a fan who suggested that various spoiler/tea social media accounts were lying about CT.
“TBF they are often very accurate, and she did kiss several people that night and was feeling the wine – I just don’t believe there’s truth to the CT stuff,” Ben said.
In addition, Season 41 vet Cara Maria Sorbello also commented about Bananas’ podcast remarks on Instagram. She said she’d forgotten about America’s drunk post-club antics.
Based on a screenshot of her IG comment (below), Cara said that she heard Leo, Dee, and Tay were involved, but CT ran away.
Ben revealed that Olivia confronted America about her drunken antics
In another part of Ben’s podcast, he spoke about the various castmates that an intoxicated America made out with or tried something with.
According to Ben, there was another post-club incident in which America grabbed Theo Campbell, prompting Theo’s girlfriend, Olivia Kaiser, to intervene.
Ben claimed that Olivia had to sit America down for a chat for about 10 or 15 minutes to tell her she was being too much.
All of these drunken moments allegedly happened after the cast’s night out at the club in Episode 4. Some allegedly occurred on the cast’s bus ride home, while other things happened back at The Challenge house.
Beyond cast members’ claims, at least one things seem accurate from America’s night of drunken fun. A previous trailer scene showed her and rookie castmate Dee Valladares locking lips on the bus.
That scene never made it into an episode, but it shows part of what might be considered America cheating on her boyfriend while filming The Challenge Season 41. Dee also had a showmance with Bananas during the filming, until he got eliminated in Episode 4.
Bananas previously alluded to America possibly not promoting Vets and New Threats much on social media because she was “embarrassed” about something that happened during filming.
It appears this was likely the series of incidents, but none of it aired like it might have in past seasons.
