The Challenge is heading into its 41st season on MTV, headlined by arguably the two biggest stars in the history of the franchise.
Chris “CT” Tamburello and Johnny Bananas have combined for an impressive 12 championships on the flagship show.
They’ll battle one another and their castmates, including a group of hungry rookies, on MTV’s Vets and New Threats, which premieres later this month.
It’s no surprise that CT and Bananas are two of the veteran cast members on the new season’s official poster, helping other vets hold up a group of rookies on a large slab of stone.
It’s also not surprising that these two will headline another MTV show together as guest stars just before The Challenge Season 41 premieres.

CT and Bananas teaming up on MTV, but for a different show
With Season 41 premiering later this month, viewers will get an early treat with fan-favorites Bananas and CT. The Challenge stars will headline as guest stars for a new episode of Ridiculousness.
It’s one of the shows that people either love or hate, as it airs constantly around the only other shows left on MTV, including The Challenge, Teen Mom, and Jersey Shore.
You’re likely to see Rob Dyrdek and his co-stars reviewing crazy videos whenever you turn on MTV unless a new season or a rare rerun from one of the other shows is airing.
Fortunately for fans of those shows, there are sometimes crossovers that feature other MTV stars as guests.
That will be the case this month as Bananas and CT appear on that red couch together for what’s sure to be a fun episode!
We’ve previously seen The Challenge stars Tori Deal, Cara Maria Sorbello, and solo Johnny Bananas appear on the show, so this should be an entertaining episode featuring two of reality TV’s major stars together!

The Challenge 41 is airing a special episode that fans shouldn’t miss
According to @challengegodss on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Ridiculousness episode airs after a one-hour special episode for The Challenge Vets & New Threats.
It’s referred to as Day Zero and will feature the veterans and rookies racing up a mountain to determine partners and living arrangements.
Based on the details and online information, the official Season 41 premiere is one week later, but this seems like a great one to watch early!
And things might establish a Season 41 draft process for competitors based on their finishing order. The premise gives off throwback vibes reminiscent of the War of the Worlds or Fresh Meat seasons!
One can only imagine what sort of mayhem will ensue with all these competitive cast members for The Challenge 41. In addition to CT and Bananas, we’ve got vets Cara Maria Sorbello, Leroy Garrett, Nia Moore, Derek Chavez, Derrick Kosinski, Turbo Camkiran, Ashley Mitchell, and Aneesa Ferreira.
