The Challenge’s Turbo and Cara Maria call out Johnny Bananas in Season 41 unaired scene

Sometimes, not all the drama appears in The Challenge episodes, including a deleted scene that feels like it should’ve been in Season 41.

The newest season, Vets and New Threats, premiered last week as rookies and veterans teamed up, formed alliances, and played the games.

The new season features multiple returning champions, including Turbo Camkiran, Cara Maria Sorbello, and Johnny Bananas.

As with previous seasons, a popular strategy involves throwing rookie competitors into eliminations early and often.

However, each rookie had a veteran teammate, and that brought some additional dynamics to everyone’s strategies.

In a recently revealed clip that never aired, Turbo and Cara Maria call out Bananas for how he’s playing the game.

Turbo and Cara called out Bananas before the elimination

An unaired clip from The Challenge surfaced on Tuesday, referencing the cast’s strategies in “Vets and New Threats,” Episode 1. In a workout area of the house, rookie Jake Cornish, who was Cara Maria’s teammate, tells her the “tea” about what’s going on ahead of elimination.

At that point, cast members knew it would be a men’s elimination after host TJ Lavin’s coin flip, and that Rogan O’Connor was going in since he and teammate Adrienne Naylor finished last in the daily.

“Johnny’s been roundin’ up to get me [versus] Rogan [O’Connor],” he told Cara, adding, “Because you’re my partner.”

Soon after, Bananas comes into the room asking if he can use the treadmill in there.

“There’s the devil. There’s the devil. What is he up to?” Cara says, smiling.

Bananas calls someone in the room an “eavesdropper” and gets on the treadmill.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I’m the devil because I’m trying to play a game?” he asked Cara, who told him outside of the house that if anything happened, she’d have his back.

However, Cara said that she knows how things are when it’s The Challenge and he’s trying to get her out.

“No one can trust you, brother,” Turbo says, making an appearance in the room.

“You always stab people back,” he told Bananas, adding, “You’re the No. 1 big snake in this home. You know this.”

“If you tell me good morning, I will go check if the sun is out or not,” Turbo said as Cara laughed.

Another scene got left out featuring Millionaire Mitchell

Rumors online suggest that other footage didn’t make it into the episode, involving Ashley “Millionaire” Mitchell.

The other rookie named as a nominee to face Rogan in the elimination was Justin Hinsley.

During or before the nomination ceremony, Ashley called out rookie Gabe Wai, or someone else, for making up a lie that Justin wanted to go home, so they should vote for him.

However, Justin revealed it wasn’t true that he wanted to leave the show. Interestingly, footage never showed this scenario or mentioned it in the episode, likely due to time constraints.

Instead, production focused on the UK alliance versus. Bananas, and vet Derek Chavez assuring Justin he’d have his back a night before voting him in.

With Justin defeating Rogan in a surprising elimination, he’ll now return to the house. Most likely, he’s looking for some revenge against those who tried to oust him from the game. In addition, rookies and vets will get new partners, making things extra spicy for the various alliances!

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on MTV.
